Every Thursday during happy hour we feature a different Ocean Wise seafood or shellfish and we invite our local fishermen and women, shellfish farmers, and seafood experts in to share some stories and tricks of the trade over a drink and some happy hour snacks.
There are thousands of different types of clams around the world. Of the many different varieties, there are two general categories; hard-shell and soft-shell clams. Greg will be here to talk about quahogs, with a focus on littleneck clams, which fall under the hard-shell category. Littlenecks are one of the smallest of the quahog family. Although small, they pack a lot of great flavour! Come join us to learn about these little molluscs, while our team prepares some complimentary happy hour bites.
